CREATING ARTISTS, PERFORMERS
& ARTS PATRONS
Boys & Girls Clubs provides all members at each of our locations the opportunity to participate in quality art programs led by trained artists and staff members.
While all members are exposed to arts programming, the Clubs give further professional and career building opportunities to youth who demonstrate interest and talent. We believe it is critical that members are exposed to the vibrant arts community within their own city and understand they can have a real future in the arts – as artists, performers or patrons.
Junior Producers Club
As part of an immersive learning course at Ball State University, Mass Media Production students teach students how to make and produce their own music/Beats using professional equipment.
Act Up (Drama Club)
Drama education builds self-confidence, sparks creativity and boosts academic achievement.
1710 Dance Program
The Boys & Girls Club’s dance program uses a multi-faceted approach, requiring dance team members to meet minimum volunteer and academic requirements as well.
