Project Description
INDIANA KIDS:
The Indiana Kids program provides education, youth development and career exploration services. The program is focused on improving proficiency in reading and math, and enables Club members to develop the daily habit of completing homework in a safe, quiet and supportive atmosphere, supervised by staff who offer both encouragement and assistance. Activities are provided in both group and individual settings.
The youth will participate in homework help, tutoring/mentoring sessions and career exploration in an effort to increase their academic achievement and knowledge of career opportunities. Participants are also offered ten career exploration activities during a sixteen-week session, which will include field trips and career professional guest speakers.
