Trunk or Treat

Last Friday we hosted our third annual Trunk or Treat event in Heekin Park with our partners at Ball State University Athletics. Trunk or Treat is a safe alternative to door-to-door trick or treating that provides an opportunity for local businesses and organizations to support community kids and their families. Families and Club kids dressed in costume to collect candy from trunks decorated by local organizations.

During the Trunk or Treat festivities, Ball State Student Voluntary Services hosted their annual Fall Festival in the Boys & Girls Club parking lot. Some of the activities included cookie decorating, games, pumpkin painting and a photo booth.

We had a record turnout with around 89 trunks, 1,001 trick-or-treaters, with over 1,500 in total! We would like to thank all the community organizations and businesses, as well as the families who made this event so successful.
