May 29, 2020 The Ball Brothers Foundation awards the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie with a $160,000 grant to support the Clubs’ mission to create a safe environment for the youth of our city. The Ball Brothers Foundation grant will allow the Clubs to employ 10 youth development professionals, pay for a portion of the utilities expense and be able to remodel a few rooms within the Madison St. site. May 8, 2020 Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent shelter-in-place orders, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie has been open for families of essential workers. Each day, members receive a hot breakfast, a hot lunch, and assistance with their at-home school work and e-learning activities. Safety is a top concern for Boys & Girls Clubs’ staff members, who have been working diligently to create and implement proper health and safety protocols. March 13, 2020 As mentioned yesterday (March 12), we want to remain open to our families who need us most. We will do so as long as we can remain open safely for our Staff, and volunteers, and our families who are unable to keep their children home safely. March 12, 2020 The coronavirus (COVID-19) is creating a lot of attention globally. We are closely monitoring the evolving coronavirus situation. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) have been updating the country on the status, and what steps should be taken moving forward. There is nothing more important to us than the health and safety of our kids, staff, volunteers, and families. February 3, 2020 The George and Frances Ball Foundation awards The Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie with a $110,000 grant to support the Clubs’ out of school time programming for kindergarten through 12th grade. The vision of the Clubs ensures that every Club member graduates from high school, ready for a post-secondary education, or a vocational career.
