The Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie is pleased to announce that starting Thursday, January 5, 2023 in partnership with the Gathering Church, will be expanding their reach to serve Eaton, Royerton, and Delta Middle School Students.  The Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie are an out-of-school time program to help young people reach their full potential, focusing on Academic & Career Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Good Character & Leadership.

“Our mission is to serve ALL young people, especially those who need us most, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned in my time on this earth, all young people need us,” said Jason Newman, CEO of the Clubs.  “Our dedicated, and highly trained staff are looking forward to bringing programs to the Delaware County Schools in addition to continuing to work with all of Muncie Community School children.”

Programs will be held Monday – Friday at the Gathering Church (9512 N Walnut Street) from when school lets out until 6:30 pm.  Members (Kindergarten – 8th Grade) will be provided small group tutoring and homework assistance, programs to help with Math, Literacy, and STEM knowledge, in a safe, loving environment.

Membership fees for the program are $15/year per child.  “We keep our membership fees low so that cost is never a barrier to our programs, but we engage with families and our communities, so the cost includes your partnership in making our communities stronger,” said Newman.

For more information, email Dominic Bordenaro at DBordenaro@BGCMuncie.org.  To register, go to www.BGCMuncie.org/join.  If you plan on attending the Clubs, you must notify your child’s school, and agree to their drop-off policies, that requires children must be dropped off at our site Monday through Friday.
