[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]As the summer comes to an end and the school year creeps closer, we have nearly reached the end of the summer AIM program. This collaboration between MOMs, Buley, Ross Rec, and the Boys & Girls Club has enrolled close to 500 kids in grades kindergarten though high school, forming friendships to hopefully last into the school year, and ultimately life.

Students have become engaged in hands-on learning on Field Trips such as Science Central, the Academy of Model Aeronautics, and the Ball State Planetarium. Students have also had the opportunity to indulge in arts and entertainment by viewing plays at the Muncie Civic Theatre, participating in the Indiana Fever “Kids Day”, and by visiting both the Indianapolis and Fort Wayne Zoos.

On Tuesday staff members and participants will travel to King’s Island for an end of the program wrap up to celebrate a successful summer.
