Meet Aaron Voss our Communication Intern
Aaron

Aaron joined our team in June as our Communication Intern. In this position he assisted with our logistics for Teen Leadership Boot Camp, while his primary focus was on teen programming. Aaron spearheaded our Money Matters and Teen Night projects. Aaron is a junior at Taylor University studying Political Science, Economics, and Philosophy. As today is Aaron’s last we asked him to reflect on his time at the Club this past summer. Read more about Aaron below.

What interested you about the Boys & Girls Club?

Every kid has a story and I really wanted to join an organization that would let me learn them.

What is your favorite memory from the Club?

Being able to have 20+ teenagers go to Ball State and learn how to be a leader during our Leadership Boot Camp. I enjoyed getting to know them, that was my introduction to the Club.

What do you plan on doing after college?

Next summer I plan on interning in Washington D.C. for my district representative Susan Brooks with S.T.E.M education…so wherever that takes me. Possibly president, who knows?

What is a fun fact about you?

I have met the president of Ireland. I also played in the Indiana All Star basketball game my senior year of high school.

If you were a candy bar which candy would you be and what does that say about your personality?

Hands down, I would be winter fresh gum because I’m so cool.
