The Boys & Girls Club of Muncie will honor the Ball Brothers Foundation’s Neil Schmottlach at its Great Futures Recognition Luncheon on Thursday, December 11, 2014.

Children’s author Horatio Alger was well-known for his stories about young boys who come from humble beginnings and with hard work, integrity, determination and a strong dedication to help others, rise to respectable positions as community leaders.
Schmottlach has spent the last 50 years dedicated to the health and fitness of our local students.
As senior program officer at Ball Brothers Foundation, Schmottlach has helped the Boys & Girls Club grow its programs, including Longest Drive, which teaches kids golf and, along the way, valuable life lessons.
