“Ayyyye!” If you know Sidney Staples, you know this phrase.
Staples, a senior Telecommunications Major at Ball State University, is a very involved and dedicated student leader. Asked to list his involvement at Ball State, you wouldn’t be able to write fast enough to get everything written down! He is the epitome of a student leader, engaged at every level, and very passionate about life. He currently serves as the Treasurer of the Student Government Association, President of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, and a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Most recently Sidney dedicated his own class project to the Boys & Girls Club by producing an amazing thirty-second commercial. The commercial, although for a grade, was an excellent production that has been widely praised for its quality.
His resume also includes memberships with the Black Student Association, Men & Women of Color and the production team for Rip or Rave.
Additionally, and very important to us, he is a very dedicated volunteer and supporter of the Boys & Girls Club of Muncie! He spends a lot of time mentoring and tutoring Club kids. He also engages the various groups he’s involved in for service projects and volunteerism.
We’re so proud of Sidney and all of this hard work.
